We’re reaching out because our wonderful friend and local coffee shop owner, Kate, is facing some unexpected medical bills, and we want to help. These medical bills have not been born out of lack of health insurance or irresponsibility, but rather from tricky diagnosis, and gross shortfall in coverage for tests and treatments. The part that stings the most is that she would owe less money if she didn’t have medical insurance at all.

As many of you know, she has poured so much love into our community through Sacred Grounds. From hosting local art shows and live music nights to donating coffee for charity events and supporting school fundraisers, she truly embodies the spirit of giving.

Now, it’s our turn to give back! We’re raising funds to help cover her medical expenses so she can focus on getting better and staying healthy without the added worry of financial stress.
