Rally for Mugsy - Open Heart Triple Bypass Surgery

This is the Mugavero family and they could use your help. They are too nice of people to ask for it, so we'll ask you! Our names are Bob & Debbie Struck and we are coming to you to ask for financial help in defraying some of their upcoming expenses. We've known Sarah & Dave ("Mugsy") Mugavero and family for over 7 years. Our boys met on the t-ball field and we grew a fast friendship. Mugsy and Bob coached the boys together for 4 seasons until they went on to play travel ball together. Our kids have rode the bus together and attended school together. We have hung out on and off the baseball field and love them dearly. The Mugavero's are a fun loving family that have been there for us and now it's our turn to return the favor.

Mugsy has been suffering with heart issues for some time. Back in 2009 on his honeymoon Mugsy had a heart attack and has had several stents put in over the years. After recently failing his stress test and his angiogram test showing 80% blockage, his Cardiologist suggested heart surgery. Mugsy is scheduled to have open heart triple bypass surgery early next month. As you can imagine, this is going to be a battle and one he was not prepared to endure. This is not an easy procedure and will take days of ICU, a lengthy hospital stay, inpatient cardiac rehab and months of at home recovery.

Mugsy owns his own painting business and will be out of work for several months. The surgery is necessary for Mugsy's health and well-being, but it comes with considerable financial burden. We are asking for help to make sure that their bills are less of a concern while he is more focused on recovery. Any bit you can give to help this beautiful family is truly appreciated. Money donated will be used for normal daily expenses and medical bills while Mugsy recovers. Together, let's rally behind Mugsy and his family during this difficult time!
