Rally for Nic's Healing: Wife and Daughter Await
Donation protected
Nic was the victim of the pedestrian hit that occured on December 2nd on glacier highway at the bottom of our driveway. He was checking the mail and letting his dog go potty before bed like he does almost every night. He was helped on scene and supported by wonderful members of our community, transported to Bartlett and quickly medivacced to a hospital in Oregon. his family has gathered around him and is giving all they have to support and pray over him.
To summarize the injuries sustained from the truck hitting him:
He has a broken pelvis
He has a high end laceration on his Kidney
He has the collapsed lung and two broken ribs on the side of impact.
He further has a broken orbital and zygomatic bone.
Two brain bleeds are minor, one is more concerning (3 total). The neurologist said that the pressure in his head is being closely monitored and is not rising substantively (currently completely normal pressure) which is a good sign.
Nic’s body tremors have settled which is also good.
They will continue to sedate him and keep him away from pain, and will only raise his bodily awareness to ensure proper neural pathways are maintained/tested periodically. He will only come out of sedation enough to perform the tests.
We continue with many prayers, and positivity. Please take a moment to say another prayer for him and Meghann and his parents.
We cannot begin to put into words what the outpouring of everyone’s love means. God is good all the time, and all the time God is good.
Nic is positivity and joy and love. He is playful and helpful and His whole world is his incredible wife Meghann and their two year old daughter Joanna.
we don’t know what the future will look like at this point but we are praying for a miracle and that he has the best medical team surrounding him, and we are asking for financial help to offset some of the stress
