Rally for Petra: Help Lay Vinny Gonzales to Rest

I am devastated to report that on the evening of November 19th, 2024, Vincencio Gonzales was senselessly robbed and murdered. Vinny had a servant's heart and was providing some friends from the track with a ride to the laundromat when he was assaulted while waiting outside in his car.

Having worked with Vinny and his wife, Petra, during several race meets at Keeneland and Fairgrounds, I can attest that he was one of the nicest, most selfless people I've had the pleasure of working with. Vinny was always willing to lend a helping hand and always greeted everyone with a smile on his face and a cheerful heart.

Petra needs help to get Vinny's body back home to lay him to rest. She has also had some health issues in recent years, and with her losing her beloved husband who supported her, she needs our help and support now more than ever.
