Rally for Rangers, Because Poaching Still Sucks!
Tax deductible
Hello Friends! Thank you so much for spending a few minutes reading about our fundraiser to help PROVIDE MOTORCYCLES TO COMMUNITY WILDLIFE RANGERS. Modern, reliable transportation is an essential tool that we can help provide.
If you have any questions, or comments, or need more information please contact Billie or me directly. We would love to have a conversation with you.
You can also follow this campaign to receive regular updates and articles.
Both of us are so honored to help provide and deliver new motorcycles to the Namibian Community Rangers, who protect the wildlife that wanders beyond the borders of the Nambian National Parks. These volunteers do such amazing work with so few resources, reliable transportation can mean the difference between life and death.
We are all very familiar with the incredible creatures of South West Africa that often show up on the Discovery Channel or on the cover of National Geographic. Here is a short list of some of the endangered & most poached animals in the region:
- Black Rhinos
- African Elephants
- Lions
- Pangolin
- and so many more...
In July, Billie and I are committed to joining Rally for Rangers in Namibia to work alongside many other volunteers to deliver a fleet of brand-new motorcycles to the Namibian Community Rangers and the Integrated Rural Development & Nature Conservation (IRDNC). Check out this amazing video:
IRDNC has made a massive impact through its conservation efforts in Namibia already, and with your support we can provide modern, reliable transportation to these incredible volunteers that risk their lives to protect the world's most sacred places.
The Namibian Community Rangers will use the motorcycles we provide to help prevent poaching of wildlife that leave or live outside the National Parks. The community rangers play an essential role in coordinating responses to poaching activities, managing wildlife, and community interaction when elephants eat farmers' crops, or lions kill their livestock.
We are raising these funds through our partner NGO, Mongol Ecology Center. Any donation will help make an impact. If you'd like to donate from a Donor Advised Fund, get matching donations from your employer, or prefer to make direct contributions, please contact me for tax information. All donations are tax-deductible in the U.S.
Mongol Ecology Center works to strengthen the management of the National Parks of Mongolia and support conservation efforts around the world.
