Rally for Recovery

My name is Alexandra and I am doing this on my brother and his girlfriend’s behalf.
On Monday, March 31, at approximately 4:45, my brother was driving his motorcycle in the left lane when a red Jeep Cherokee driving in the right lane cut in front of him and he slammed his brakes and laid the bike down. If he hadn't laid his bike down, he would've gone into oncoming traffic or hit the jeep and flew over it, who truly knows we’re just so thankful to have him here. He was wearing a helmet, and that's what saved his life. The driver of the jeep was located but is a minor so we don’t know who it is and don’t know what to expect now.
His humerus was broken from the shoulder to the elbow, requiring an extensive surgery to repair his arm. He has severe road rash and also has three loose teeth that will need to be addressed when he is well enough to go to the dentist. He was hospitalized for a total of five days due to this.
They are a blended family with two girls and a one year old son. She will be out of work for at least a month so she can care for my brother at home. They could use any help they can get! The police department has policies and protocols to follow, so unfortunately, a police report has not even been written. He will be out of work for 6 months, possibly longer.
I know so many people have reached out for support, and my brother really, really appreciates it! He thinks it’s so cool that so many people are rallying for him! ❤️❤️❤️❤️
