Rally for Renee Pine: Overcoming Cancer Together

Attention all friends and family. My friend Renee Pine has been diagnosed with a rare cancer. Renee is a beautiful woman inside and out, she has dedicated the last 20 years helping others and now she needs our support. Any help is greatly appreciated. Renee is having her first of many surgeries in NYC. Renee has polymorphous adenocarcinoma a rare salivary gland cancer that has metastasized to several lymphnodes in both sides of my neck. I will be having an invasive surgery that will require them splitting my jaw to enable my doctor to get a good visual field of my tumor. I will be having a resection of all the lymphnodes in the left and right side of my neck. I will have reconstructive surgery to my tongue that requires removing tissue and a blood vessel from my are and a skin graph to promote healing to my left arm. I will require a trachea and a feeding tube. The feeding tube will need to remain until I complete 33 weeks of radiation.
