Help Support Storm’s Recovery After a Serious Baseball Injury
Storm, a junior at Wisconsin Lutheran College and a dedicated pitcher for the baseball team, suffered a serious injury on Tuesday, April 15, 2025, during a game. While on the mound, he was struck in the head by a line drive.
Storm was rushed to the ER and admitted to the ICU, where he received care from a specialized team across five different medical departments. After several intense days in the hospital in Milwaukee, he was discharged on April 19, 2025.
He is recovering but faces a long road ahead. Storm sustained a brain bleed, significant swelling, and multiple fractures to his cheek, jaw, and skull near the occipital lobe. Thankfully, his vision and hearing remain intact. However, he has numerous follow-up appointments, therapy, and ongoing care in the weeks and months to come.
We’re raising funds to help cover medical expenses, follow-up care, and support his recovery. Any contribution, no matter how small, will help Storm and his family during this difficult time. Thank you for keeping him in your thoughts and prayers.
