The Coopers House Fire Relief Fund

Donation protected
On Sunday, March 16th, a well-loved local family — Kurt, Courtney, Lily, and Levi Cooper — lost their home to a devastating fire on North Line in Kincardine. In a matter of moments, everything was gone — their home, their belongings, and the comforts they worked so hard to build.

While we are grateful that everyone is safe, they are now faced with the difficult reality of starting over.

The Coopers are a hardworking family who have quietly made a lasting impact on many lives. Kurt, known to many as “Coop,” has worked at Bruce Power for 22 years, and Courtney owns Country Road Sweets, a local business cherished by so many in our community.

They have always been the type of family who show up selflessly for others, never asking for help, but always willing to offer it.

Now, it’s our turn to show up for them.

Financial support is the most immediate way we can help right now, as they navigate the days ahead and work to cover urgent needs like temporary housing, food, clothing, and other essentials.

This community has a long history of stepping up when one of our own needs it most. Whether you know the Coopers personally or simply want to support a local family in crisis, every donation will make a difference.

Let’s rally together and remind the Coopers that they are surrounded by a community who stands behind them.

Thank you for your support as they begin the difficult process of rebuilding.
