Rally for Tyler: Rebuilding After Fire
Donation protected
In the early hours of April 11, 2025, at around 2 a.m., Tyler woke up to the terrifying sounds of crackling flames and thick smoke—his house was on fire. Thankfully, he managed to escape safely, sustaining only minor scrapes and bruises. However, the devastation was immense. The fire and smoke damage has claimed everything he owned.
While Tyler is working through the insurance process, it’s uncertain what will be covered, and unfortunately, his policy may fall significantly short of replacing what he has lost. The journey to recovery will be long, and the financial burden is overwhelming.
Tyler is a cherished member of our WakeWell Lake Mohawk Chapter in Ohio. Since joining our wake community, he has become an avid wakesurfer and he has become the creative force behind capturing and editing incredible moments at WakeWell, using his Insta360—another cherished tool lost in the fire. His passion and dedication have brought so much life to our group!
To make matters even more challenging, Tyler and his fiancée Annie are in the middle of planning their wedding, set to take place this June. Although his immediate needs—food and shelter—are taken care of, the full extent of insurance coverage remains uncertain, and the costs of rebuilding are mounting. Due to severe smoke damage, his entire house must be completely gutted.
Tyler has given so much to our wakeboarding and wakesurf community, and now it’s our turn to rally around him. We want to show him the same love and support he has shown us.
While this fundraising goal is an initial estimate, it may not fully reflect the total need. Any contribution, no matter the size, will make a difference in helping Tyler.
Thank you!
