On July 28th Tyler was home with Bri and 8 month old Jackson when he suddenly collapsed and went into Cardiac Arrest. Bri was a true Hero that day when she was able to perform life saving measures till the paramedics arrived and started Tyler's heart again.
The doctors have said that Bri is the only reason that Tyler is alive today.
Tyler was in the ICU for 3 days and no one knew what was going to happen when he woke up. Thankfully he made it through!
As most of you know Bri and Tyler are amazing teachers and give their lives to the community. Teaching is a selfless job and NOW it is our turn to be selfless and help right now! They are estimating their expenses to be well over $10,000 ! They have to out of pocket $5,000 for their medical expenses and Tyler will need medication monthly for the next year that will cost over $300/month after insurance. He will also need to be on a regular exercise program ALONG with the new parameters on his diet, making sure he gets enough rest and that he takes his meds on time.
All of these things are just adding extra pressure when at the moment the only thing the family needs to be focused on recovering from this tragic event and getting life in order. Not only is the monetary strain huge on something like this but the emotional side. The family is trying to navigate a new way of life.
Bri and Tyler are so grateful for your thoughts, and prayers!
