Rally for Wyatt
Donation protected
It has been a little over a year since Wyatt was diagnosed with Ulcerative Colitis. August brought an unforeseen "flare-up" that medication couldn't control. After almost a month in the hospital with debilitating pain, a life threatening infection, and many uncertainties, surgery to remove his colon was, ultimately, the only viable option.
To say Wyatt has been through a lot is an understatement. He's grateful to now be home and begin his recovery. There's still a long road ahead and a second surgery to reverse the colostomy will be needed when he's ready. Unbelievably, this second surgery is considered "elective" and will not be covered by insurance. In a situation that has felt hopeless at times, we'd like to help Wyatt cover the cost of his next surgery and recoup several months of lost income. It's a big ask, but he's one good guy and more than deserving.
And finally, in whatever version of prayer you practice, please hold Wyatt in your hearts. Keep the good intentions and healing love flowing so that we can have him back on his feet soon.
Please share this GoFundMe far and wide. $5 from a stranger matters. $10 from one of your coworkers makes a difference. Any help is greatly appreciated.
