Rallying for Kris: Uniting to Triumph Over Cancer

Donation protected

Hello, my friends, family, neighbors, and maybe people I haven't had the pleasure of meeting yet. My name is Kelley, and I am writing to you today with a heavy heart with hope and overwhelming concern. My precious and beloved son, Kris, has recently been diagnosed with metastatic cancer in his lymph nodes. This news has punched our family in the gut so hard. It has been so incredibly devasting beyond any words that I can express, and we humbly come to you and ask for your support.

Kris is trying very hard to keep a positive outlook and attitude; I'm very grateful for that. I hope this continues, and I pray daily that it does now that chemotherapy treatments have begun. For those of you who pray, please join me in praying for daily strength and hope and for him to continue that fighting spirit ingrained within him. As a family, we refuse to let this disease define Kris's future. We are determined to do whatever it takes to ensure he receives the best care and treatments available.

The extensive medical bills, therapies, and other related expenses are taking a real toll on our family's resources. The income loss during the months Kris will be under chemotherapy treatment is a huge concern, as Kris has no resources to draw from. If he doesn't work, he doesn't get paid. For those of you who don't know what Kris does for a living, he has an exciting and interesting job, but he is a starving artist still working diligently to get his career off the ground. He has been working very hard for a while now in Hollywood and has made some excellent connections. As some of you know, he worked as a camera operator on Storage Wars, Jay Leno's Garage, and Kevin Hart's Muscle Car Crew. Since those assignments ended, he's been working as a cinematographer on a variety of different shows for people in the film business and other projects. This work requires a fast-paced lifestyle of lifting camera equipment, being constantly on the go, and traveling. Kris won’t be able to continue his work schedule. As I said, if he doesn't work, he doesn't get paid. He is very worried, and so are we as a family. This is why we have set up this GoFundMe campaign - to humbly ask for your support in Kris's cancer journey.

With your compassionate donations, we can alleviate the financial stress of covering Kris's overwhelming financial needs, such as basic living needs, rent, bills, and expenses, while he is undergoing chemotherapy and cannot perform his labor-intensive work. This will allow Kris to focus on what matters most: his well-being and recovery. Your contributions will also help cover the mound of medical expenses, medications, specialized treatments, any hospital stays, his past hospital emergency surgery and hospital bills related to his recently discovered cancer, continuing surveillance that requires MRI and CT scans, and potential future surgeries, rehabilitation, and all vital elements of Kris's battle against cancer.

We believe in the power of community, and we know that together, we make a difference. Your support will not only provide financial aid; it will also uplift Kris's spirits and reinforce his determination to overcome this adversity. Whether you donate, share our story, or offer words of encouragement, your kindness will make an immeasurable impact on our family's strength and resilience.

Every dollar counts, and no donation is too small. We genuinely appreciate your kindness, generosity, and prayers during this challenging time. Join us in rallying for Kris as we embark on this journey filled with courage, hope, and unwavering faith.

Please share this fundraiser with your networks, friends, and loved ones, spreading the message of Kris's fight and encouraging others to support the cause. Together, let's write Kris's success story - a tale of resilience, healing, and triumph over cancer!

Thank you from the depths of our hearts for joining us in our mission to support Kris. Let's stand beside him and prove that love and compassion can outshine even the darkest days.

With gratitude, hope, and love,
