Though we are relieved that her injuries were not more severe, Marie is currently facing a challenging situation. The medical expenses incurred are not entirely covered by her insurance, and she is also burdened with the deductible due to the driver fleeing the scene.

As a tight-knit community, we aim to support Marie during this difficult time. To assist her in covering the medical bills and aiding her recovery process, we have set a fundraising goal of $7,000.
