Rallying for Qingqing’s cancer battle

Dear Friends, family and community
We are reaching out to you today on behalf of Qingqing a 31 year old wife and mother of two young children who embodies resilience, love, and unwavering strength.
In May, Qingqing presented to Griffith Base Hospital with significant pain and pressure within the lower abdomen. After a series of tests, she received the diagnosis of a rare small cell ovarian cancer. Qingqing has been admitted at the Wagga Base Hospital since, and is expected to be transported to Sydney in the next week or so to undergo her second and third treatment. If treatment goes to plan, Qingqing is expected to undergo surgery and then resume more chemotherapy, a long exhausting time ahead. As you can imagine, this diagnosis is devastating – it has upended Qingqing and her family’s world. To make matters worse, prior to Qingqing’s diagnosis, their family have been fighting for their son Sam’s life, who was diagnosed with Leukaemia 2018. Although Sam’s condition is now stable, he too, is also required to travel to Sydney every three-six months to receive specialist care in Sydney.
As Wu continues to provide full-time care for his two children back home in Griffith, he is unable to go to work and bring in a stable income. With no savings and regular income, they could use your help to alleviate the financial hardship they face. Funds raised would go towards rent arrears, day-to- today living expenses, accommodation and travel to Sydney and the mounting medical expenses.
Any support you can provide is appreciated. Thank you for your contribution - it means the world to Qingqing to have you all alongside her as she fights to win this battle
Love
