Rallying for Reese Lowery

On Sunday, June 23rd, Taylor and Ryan Lowery noticed their 2 year old son, Reese, wasn't able to walk. After hurrying to the ER at Passavant, they were transported to St. John's Hospital in Springfield, IL. Reese's labs were down with low platelets and he had to have a blood transfusion. Within 12 hours, Reese was diagnosed with leukemia and within 24 hours, it was also determined that Reese had suffered a severe stroke on the left side of his brain that caused a blockage in the main artery of the neck. Reese and his parents have now been transported to Children's Hospital in St. Louis, MO. Reese has gone through several tests (bone marrow, spinal tap, pick line, MRIs, CT) in a short amount of time as doctors and nurses have worked to come up with a definite diagnosis and treatment. As Taylor and Ryan work through this time, we are making an effort to help alleviate some of the financial stressors of Reese's medical bills. All donations will be used to pay for any expenses associated with Reese.
