Rallying Together for Geena and John's Recovery

Dear friends, family, and compassionate community members,

We come to you today with heavy hearts, seeking your support for two incredible individuals who have recently faced a harrowing ordeal. Geena DiMattia and John Polak, known for their unwavering support and boundless kindness towards family and friends, are now in need of our collective strength.

On September 9th, 2023, Geena DiMattia and John Polak, residents of Falls, PA, were victims of a severe car accident on Falls Road caused by treacherous weather conditions and intense flooding that night. The severe weather destroyed the bridge near Eckels Farm, but during the storm, this was not visible, and as a result, the vehicle they were traveling in made impact with the still-raised portion of the bridge. They are now in the ICU, in stable condition, but facing a long and challenging road to recovery. While they are expected to make a full recovery, extensive medical treatments including surgeries and therapy will require them to be out of work for an extended period.

Geena and John are blessed with the support of their immediate family, who are by their side throughout this difficult time. However, the uncertainty of their recovery timeline adds an extra layer of stress, especially when it comes to covering their living expenses.

While they do have insurance to help with medical expenses, we are reaching out to you, our extended community, to assist with the financial burden they face. The funds raised will be used to cover their medical bills, rehabilitation costs, and daily living expenses, allowing them to focus on healing and regaining their strength.
