Ralph Johnson Legal Fund

Piscataway School Board members Shelia Hobson, Nitang Patel, Jeffrey Fields, Kimberly Lane, Brenda Smith and Calvin Laughlin subsequently, and disgracefully, voted to remove Ralph Johnson from the Board for being absent from two Board of Education meetings that he missed because he is a first responder (Essex County police Lt.) who had to work in the middle of a statewide health crisis and emergency brought on by COVID-19
This is a transparent act of political retribution carried out by Board members who were put into office by the local Wahler-Smith political machine, who recently took over a majority of the Board. It will not stand up in court, and it is a disgusting waste of District time and resources when they should be focusing on any number of vital issues facing our schools.
