Ralph Barragan - Support for surviving wife, Rita

My name is Gerardo Martinez. I am fundraising for Rita Barragan following the unexpected and tragic death of her husband, Ralph Barragan, at Mt. SAC on December 1, 2022.

I grew up playing soccer with Ralph and Rita’s son, Rafael (Ralphy), and through that, the Barragan family became my second family. Ralph was like a second father to me, and the sudden loss of his life has devastated everyone who had the privilege of knowing him.

Ralph was the kindest and most loving person imaginable. He loved his family more than anything in the world. Ralph is survived by his loving family, including his wife Rita, his daughter Brittany and her husband Ozzie, his daughter Crystal and her husband Craig, and his son Rafael and his fiancé Elvia. Ralph also leaves behind his two beautiful granddaughters, Isla and Ava.

Ralph’s tragic passing has left Rita picking up the pieces both emotionally and financially. This fundraiser aims to help Rita with her living expenses while she copes with Ralph’s unexpected passing.

The funds raised here will be used for utilities, groceries, health insurance, and other daily living expenses. The funds raised here will not be used for memorial or funeral expenses.
