After returning home, he attended Brigham Young University where he met and married Julie Holmstead. Ralph was always fascinated by science and human physiology, which led him to pursue a Doctor of Chiropractic at Palmer College of Chiropractic. While attending Palmer, Ralph and Julie welcomed their first son, Isaac, into the family. They were later blessed with four more sons: Anthony, Alex, Henry, and Max. Ralph loved his boys with all his heart.
In 2012, Ralph married Rita Brown which brought another son, Austin Brown, into his family.
