Ralph’s ride 4 Health

Hi, my name is Ralph and I recently retired from a long career in the NHS in Scotland.

I would now like to give something back and am therefore intending to cycle over 1,200 miles across Scotland to raise funds for 3 Charities close to my heart.

Firstly the charitable arms of the two health boards, Shetland and Scottish Borders, I was privileged to lead, which both support the staff in these communities to provide the best possible care.

Secondly, SAMH, Scotland’s national charity for promoting and supporting Mental health.

As someone who has experienced the impact of depression and who from my work knows how challenging working in mental health can be I am delighted to choose this as my national charity.

I intend to split any funds I raise equally between these charities and would be grateful for any support I am given

All costs associated with the ride will be born by myself so all funds raised will go directly to the charities
