Ramadan food distribution to needy families

My name is Lisa Sarabi. I'm the founder of Helping Families Monthly, a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization that helps families with immediate assistance. In past 2 years, we had partnered with AWC to provide poor & needy families with food distribution and iftar meals. Last year in 2022 we raised over $10K in funds and provided the following:

422 families with food distribution

225 people with Eid clothes (including children)

Iftari meals for 8,000 people

$250 for an orphanage of 70 children

10 families with Eid food items

Remember that the food distribution included items such as rice, flour, oil etc which lasts the families a whole month!

This year our goal is to raise $12000 to feed & help more families especially since a lot of people are still in dire need and have lost their jobs. This year we will be focusing on distributing food, and towards the end of Ramadan, we will be focusing on eid clothes. We have several packages for families.

Package 1: $90 (includes 50 KG flour, 25 KG Rice, 5 KG oil and 1 KG Green tea)

Package 2: $50 (includes Chickpeas, kidney beans, sugar, green tea, macaroni, salt, potatoes, onions, and tomatoes sauce)

Package 3: $40 (Okra, tomatoes, eggs, eggplant, bread, green tea, lentil, split peas and meat)

All packages include administration fees (i.e transportation costs).
