RAMIRO WANTS TO COME BACK HOME

Ramiro left for Uruguay last year. Unfortunately, the pandemic and an emotional crisis made his stay longer than expected. Now, Ramiro wants to come back and hug his family.

 

Ramiro Osorio is one of the most memorable soccer players in New England. He started playing at the age of six with NH Bedford Classics and continued with Central High School. His determinant moves on the field, and his goals with his unstoppable left leg took his school to 4 state championships finals in a row winning 3 of them (2009-2011-2012.  Though he was a High School Senior, he started training for New England Revolution, New England’s professional soccer team, which stayed until he decided to go to college. Still in New Hampshire, people remember this very skilled player awarded as the State’s MVP in 2011.

 

Ramiro went on with his studies in Sports Management for two years at NHTI Concord Community College until he decided to go back to Uruguay. He wanted to get a fresh start after a heartbreaking situation that affected his studies and his soccer performance. He tried to find in his roots a new air, but unfortunately, the pandemic and mental breakdown made him hit rock bottom.

 

Ramiro initiated a rehabilitation process, and now more than ever, he needs his beloved family: Lola, Ed, and siblings Luciano, Aleksa, and Miia. They have been waiting for over a year to hug Ramiro, and they want to be a part of this recovery process.

 

 

Your help is essential to bring Ramiro back home! With your support, the family will be able to finance his transportation from South America and the immigration lawyer fees since he overstayed abroad, which violates his green card status. In addition, the family is hoping the lawyer will advise them on how they can get in back in the country since he is the only non-American citizen of the group.  Also he will need to continue with the rehabilitation process here in US.

RAMIRO QUIERE VOLVER A CASA

 

 

Ramiro partió hacia Uruguay el año pasado, pero la pandemia y una crisis emocional lo obligaron a quedarse allí por mas de lo esperado. Ahora Ramiro quiere volver a abrazar a su familia.

 

Ramiro Osorio es uno de los deportistas mas recordados en el futbol de Nueva Inglaterra. Empezó a jugar desde los 6 años con el NH Bedford State Classics y luego el continuo con Central High School. Sus determinantes movimientos en la cancha y sus goles con pierna izquierda hicieron que el equipo de futbol de Manchester Central High School alcanzara las finales 4 años seguidos se llevara el trofeo en tres oportunidades como campeon estatal (2009-2011-2012). Aun sin terminar la escuela, Ramiro fue llamado a hacer parte de New Englad Revolution, el equipo de fútbol profesional de Nueva Inglaterra, con quienes entrenó por dos años hasta entrar a la Universidad. Aun muchos en la escena del deporte recuerdan a este goleador de pierna izquierda que fue considerado por tres años consecutivos como el mejor jugador de futbol de New Hampshire. Ramiro inició sus estudios en Administración de Deportes en NHTI Concord Community Colege donde estuvo vinculado durante un año hasta que decidió darle un vuelco a su vida y regresar a Uruguay.

Ramiro estaba en búsqueda de un aire nuevo después de una ruptura amorosa que también afecto su rendimiento deportivo. Buscó refugio en su país natal, pero la pandemia y decaimiento de su salud mental y emocional lo llevaron a una crisis que prolongó su estadía. Ramiro ha iniciado un proceso de recuperación y ahora mas que nunca es importante compartir con sus padres Lola y Ed; y con sus hermanos Luciano, Aleksa y Miia. Ellos han esperado por mas de un año poder abrazar a Ramiro para darle todo su apoyo y ayudarle en un nuevo comienzo.

¡Tu apoyo es importante para hacer que Ramiro vuelva a casa! Con tu aporte será posible financiar los gastos de transporte aéreo y los honorarios del abogado. Ramiro ha estado por fuera de Estados Unidos mas de un año, sobrepasando el limite estipulado por el Gobierno Americano para residentes. Los abogados buscarán asesorar a la familia, pues Ramiro es el único no ciudadano de los Osorio, que hoy luchan por volver a estar unidos.  Tambien el necesitara continuar su reahabilitacion aqui en Estados Unidos.
