Randal Ford - Art for Assistants
Donation protected
UPDATE (5/11/20): We are very close to our 10K goal! If we hit 10K, you can still donate and receive a print. We will determine the final edition amount once all donations are received. THANK YOU for your generosity!
ART FOR ASSISTANTS
While the world works to heal itself and take on this pandemic headfirst, we want to make sure we are supporting those who not only support us, but also make our work possible. We are asking you to participate in “Art for Assistants”, a campaign to turn paper and ink into financial support for photography assistants.
We will be selling 100 limited edition, 11”x14" unframed prints of Black Swan No. 1, as seen at the top of the page for $100, but of course, donations of any size are welcomed. The piece will be printed on Epson archival luster paper and hand signed.
For donations of $100 or more, please send an email to [email redacted] with your phone number and best mailing address. Once we receive confirmation of donation, your numbered and signed print will be sent your way!
One hundred percent of proceeds from the sale of these photography prints (with an exception of the 3% that goes to GoFundMe) will go to directly to the assistants.
With Epson’s support of ink and paper, “Art for Assistants” will mobilize the world’s greatest image-makers to sell limited edition prints, in order to raise money for all the assistants heavily impacted by the lack of work during this time.
We encourage you to share this campaign with your audience and greatly appreciate your time, consideration and donations during such a challenging time.
Thank you to fellow photographer Tim Tadder for the idea to bring this project to life!
FAQS
Is this framed? No, it is not. But, 11X14 is a standard size and you should be able to find a frame and matt easily.
Can I choose a different print? Unfortunately, this is the only piece we are offering in a small limited edition. It is rare that I offer pieces of this size and I feel like this is a great opportunity to buy a piece of relevant artwork that supports hard-working people in need.
When will my print ship? We will be shipping the prints after the majority of donations have been received.
Can you ship outside the US? Unfortunately, we can only ship within the continental US but would still welcome donations from outside the US.
