Randall A. Rowland -taken too soon-
Donation protected

The Rowland children have decided that we want to set up this donation to help 2 foundations in our father's name.
Last year our dad had a series of small strokes, (TIAs) in October. None with major lasting issues. For the next several months he saw his doctors and took his medications to get his condition under control and manageable. Only 5 months later, March 2nd he woke up complaining of shortness of breath and slurring speech. He was rushed to the ER and admitted into ICU. Within half a day he was no longer able to speak, move his body, and most importantly was not able to swallow. After being intubated we were hoping he would be able to recover and breathing would be easier. After 4 days he developed pneumonia in his lungs, and struggled to breath. His brothers Frank and Gary were able to fly in and we were all with our dad until he couldn't fight any longer. Everyone was able to speak to him and he was able to use his eyes and eyebrows to show his expressions. 67 and newly retired is way too soon! We know he wanted to spend his retirement being with his grandkids, us, and traveling on his bike across the country. Those baby blue eyes saying more than words could ever. We will honor our father by living our best lives and striving to be half as generous, kind, thoughtful, and filled with love as he was. ♡
We thank you so very much and God Bless.
