Randall Ervin's Racing Accident
Donation protected
On Saturday, April 30th, our good friend Randall Ervin was in a terrible racing accident. Randall was racing in the Pro Bike class in Buckhannon, WV when he clipped a tree and was thrown into another tree.
Randall was transported by ambulance to the hospital in Buckhannon where doctors discovered he had internal bleeding and a Grade 4 laceration to his liver. The impact caused his liver to almost be cut in half.
Randall was immediately given several pints of blood and once stabilized he was flown to Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown, WV for emergency surgery.
He is now in stable condition but remains in the Intensive Care Unit. Hopefully he won't require any further surgeries.
We hope and pray he gets to come home in about a week! According to his doctors, Randall is extremely lucky to be alive.
We all know him as such a fun loving guy, with that huge smile, always willing to help anyone out. His kind ways and happy go lucky personality have left a positive impact on us all...Especially amongst his race family.
We are asking first and foremost for your prayers. Randall has a long road to recovery ahead of him and will be missing atleast 8 weeks of work.
This will be an expensive process for Randall and his family. We are trying to raise immediate funds to help with travel expenses and upcoming medical bills. Please donate whatever you can and keep him in your prayers!
We can't wait to see him back on the track! #612
