Update on Randy’s Klomp’s cancer battle
Donation protected
Hello! My name is Amy and I am the organizer of this special fundraiser for Randy Klomp. First of all, we are all so grateful for everyone who has donated! There are no words to express how grateful we are for your generosity, prayers, and support we have received. Randy is a 16 year old boy that has been diagnosed with Medulloblastoma CNS-WHO Grade 4. He has been hospitalized for over 1 month after undergoing an extensive 13 hour brain surgery to remove a large cancerous tumor. Randy is still at U of M Children's hospital. He is scheduled to be fitted for his radiation gear at the Royal Oak Beaumont facility. After test results of his spinal tap, they must use the strongest possible and safest amounts. Chemotherapy will also be given with radiation. Radiation will last 6 weeks at 5 days a week. Then he will have a 1 month break before 3-6 additional months of Chemotherapy will begin again. His parents have not left his side and are both unable to work and needs financial support to help pay for transportation to his treatments, his care, and medical supplies. Randy has been struggling with regaining his mobility and eye sight...although he has had improvement with his memory and his physical therapy has worked to improve his mobility. He has a long road ahead of him and please help to share his journey by sharing the link to your social media platforms. Please continue to pray for our boy. Thank you again for all the support you have given us.
