On Wednesday afternoon, October 4, our dear friend and brother Randy Listman crashed his motorcycle into a highway embankment near to his home in Lake County. While no other persons were injured or other vehicles damaged, the driver of a following car witnessed Randy's body flying well past the bike. The CHP has ruled out the involvement of drugs/alcohol.

Randy was airlifted to Santa Rosa Memorial Hospital with rib, back, clavicle, and leg fractures, and lesions to the kidneys and brain. In critical condition, his medical team has kept him unconscious for pain management, yet are uncertain that he will regain consciousness upon reducing it. Scans have indicated a discouraging level of neurological activity.

His wife Claudia remains courageously vigilant at his bedside, and has been accompanied by her daughter. Her brother is arriving Sunday. Due the risk of introducing infection, the only visitors allowed are family members.
