Randall Parten - Fire Victim

Birch Bay Chamber of Commerce immediate past President, Randy Parten, suffered a tragic loss of his home and beloved pet last night when his home in Birch Bay caught fire and was destroyed. Randy suffered severe burns trying to rescue his dog Tiggy and two other pets that belonged to his girlfriend. Randy was airlifted to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle and remains in the hospital recovering from his burns. The home was completely destroyed in a matter of minutes and all of Randy's possessions were lost. He is starting the road to recovery and materially has lost everything.

Randy has given to the community through his volunteer efforts and now it's the community's opportunity to give back when he truly needs us.
