Update on Randi: 6/26/2022

Her doctor came in this morning. We were told she has NO white blood cells now. They are keeping her on the stronger antibiotic as a precaution because without white blood cells, she has no immune system. Her hemoglobin and platelets are very low as well so they are giving her blood and platelets today. The doctor said we are going to be here a while. She can't leave this time unless her white blood count comes up. If it doesn't, They may have to send her to Columbus.

Please continue to pray for our girl. This is scaring me more than it already was.

UPDATE:  Update on Randi:
We are still waiting for ALL of her doctors to be able to meet all together. May be after office hours today, not sure. 

However, we did speak with the oncologist who does chemo and radiation therapy. They want to try chemo and/or radiation therapy before doing the surgery. They was to shrink the tumor before going in to remove it. They are trying to make sure this does not reoccur again. So, right now we are waiting for her doctors to get together

Tomorrow she is scheduled to get a Pic line, another bone marrow biopsy, and another spinal fluid test. The one doctor wants to start radiation ASAP.

Please continue to pray for our girl. She has a long road ahead.

Hi! my name is Tina and I am raising money for little Randi. Randi is 18 months old and suffers from retinoblastoma. At the age of around 10 months, it was discovered that she had the terrible “C” word and she underwent a surgery to remove her eye. She did well and then went on to get a prosthetic eye. She recently developed some concerning issues. She was taken to The Dr. in Morgantown on 6/12/2022. She had some scans today, 6/13/2022. The Dr. states that it in fact another tumor. She won’t be able to receive

a prosthetic after this surgery. She may require chemo after the upcoming surgery.
