My Papa was a sweet, gentle man. He always helped people. Especially senior citizens. He went to temple every Friday night. He loved Frank Sinatra, Groucho Marx and Chocolate Milk.
In a senseless incident this past weekend, a man killed him . He was only 68, and he just welcomed two new grandchildren to the world. He was excited to come visit them in Las Vegas, where my brother, Andrew lives, and then in Los Angeles, where my family resides.
Unfortunately, that trip will never happen. Coordinating a funeral from across the country is not easy to do and very expensive. My family is reaching out to friends and family for any contributions they could make so that we could pay proper respects to his memory of loving kindness.
