Random Acts of Kindness Beach Run

Hope everyone is doing well! During this time, many of us are trying to help one another in ways that we can and are able to help. As you may know, whether you see it on the news or have personally seen these long lines outside of food distribution centers or churches where people are hungry and waiting to receive food donations, many families in NJ and elsewhere are struggling to feed their families. There are great organizations that are depending upon us and our donations to help support them to provide the services necessary to help these families in need.

On August 29 just before sunrise, I will be running on the beach for this great cause beginning at the Manasquan Inlet and ending at the Sandy Hook Lighthouse which will be very close to a marathon (26.2 miles). I was going to ask for a pledge per mile but there isn’t a way to do that on the site so if you can estimate a total amount based upon a pledge per mile it would be greatly appreciated. I will be running north, and strictly running in the soft sand (pending availability) to make this truly a beach run. I have previously ran a few marathons but obviously never in the sand the entire time so it will definitely be a challenge! 

I am excited to do this to help those in need and I’m looking forward to it! I hope I can count on you and any donation you can do to support me and help to raise money for this great organization. Thanks in advance for your contribution to this cause that means so much to me and many others!

Random Acts of Kindness (R.A.K.) is a team that I am a part of that is dedicated to helping people and organizations where needed.
