Randy Charron in his Recovery
Donation protected
Thank you to everyone who has donated!! Update from Marty and Marina:
Update on our family.
As we are finding some normal rythm, we feel it is important to update our friends and family who have helped beyond our wildest dreams. Thank you all! It has been a very different position for us to have to learn how to accept help, Our family prides ourselves in helping others because it makes us feel valued, and apreciated from those we love.
You are all loved and valued!
Randy is in Rehab now and in good spirits. We are making some changes to our home to get him home sooner. He is stubborn and determined to commit to a full recovery. With time, it is completely achievable. He isnt much for words, unless he is chirping you so I thought it was best I update everyone instead.
He had 2 surgeries on his left leg and a bunch of new metal installed. Also had his right wrist assembled with some metal plated. His face looks a bit fucked up, but everyone is telling me that was already like that.
We are hoping to be home within the next two weeks. Marina is able to stay home with him full time to make sure he has no fun at all and is being forced to eat right and exercise.
I have been able to get back to work this week thanks to my supportive, understanding and helpful Family at Henderson Metal and plan to get back to full time in the coming weeks.
Nala has been the most supportive sister in the planet. No one is going to believe me, she told Randy she loved him.
Somehow through all this experience we have been ably to grow closer as a family, let the little things go, and realize tomorrow is never guaranteed.
We will be allowing some more visiting in the next week or 2, preferably once Randy is home so we dont distract him from his day to day goals. Feel free to reach out to him on messenger.
We love you all, thank you all from the deepest parts of our hearts. I'm not sure how we will be able to repay you, but we have lots of time to make it happen.
Sincerely, The Charrons.❤

Many of you know that Randy was in a serious collision the evening of October 19, 2024. Randy's helmet saved his life, but unfortunately he has had to undergo several major surgeries as a result. Randy is in hospital and thankfully has now been moved out of ICU. For those of you fortunate to know Randy, we are sure you all agree that he is really the kindest soul. He is a person who asks you how you are with a genuine interest in knowing the answer, he always offers to help in any way he can, and he is just truly a pleasure to be around. Randy has a long road to recovery ahead of him.
Randy's parents, Marty and Marina have been at his bedside 24/7 and of course will continue to need to be there for him. It is uncertain when Randy will get out of the hospital, but once he does, he will require full-time care at home as he is rehabilitated. Marty and Marina have both had to take a leave from work to care for their son and do what they need to do as loving parents. Understandably, this will have a significant financial impact on their family.
Those who know Randy know that he has come by his unselfish demeanor honestly. Both Marty and Marina are the first to offer to lend a hand, and the last to ever ask for help.
We have set up this GOFUNDME to support them during this traumatic time, and hope that you will consider donating to alleviate some of the financial impact this devastating accident will have so they can focus on Randy and his health.
