Randy Kane

Hi, my name is Steven Kane and my sister's Heather Kane & Tabitha Goble are starting this fundraiser to help our father, Randy Kane who just experienced life changing trauma. Our loving father 61 years of age with 3 kids and 7 grandchildren has unfortunately suffered from a number of serious injuries while helping a friend on his farm.

Our father was on top of a grain grinder covering it with a tarp when his foot got caught on a strap and he fell from a high distance onto concrete. He was knocked unconscious and was taken to the University of Michigan hospital where he is still in the ICU. He was taken into emergency surgery and given a blood transfusion because of multiple spots of internal bleeding in his pelvis area. Multiple other serious injuries came with the fall, he is being closely watched by the ICU team. He is suffering from 3 broken ribs, puncture lung, a shifted bladder, broken clavicle, fractured neck, multiple injuries of the spine, and multiple breaks in his pelvic and he is at high risk for pneumonia.

Our father is one of the hardest working people we know and has been farming and running heavy equipment most all of his life. He is the sole provider for our mother Janis Kane and will not be able to possibly ever work again and the doctors are telling us it could take up to 6 months before he could start to use a walker. We're looking for any donation to help them stay afloat with bills such as medical expenses, food, house payment, propane for heat, gas money back and forth to rehabilitation appointments ect. Unfortunately, our father will probably not be spending the holidays at home with his family. Please pray for our father's recovery.
