Randy & Karen Peterson

Hi, my name is Jacki. On behalf of coworkers and myself we are fundraising for Randy and Karen Peterson.

Randy was first diagnosed with cirrhosis of the liver with ascites 4 years ago in June. Randy went through 3 days of testing and then was placed on the transplant list.

Through the last 4 yeasrs, Randy has numerous appointments and hospital stays.

Last summer, Randy developed cancer of the liver and with chemo it died off. There are 2 new cancer liaisons now and he was transferred to Milwaukee, WI.

Randy has lost his muscle mass, on 25 different medications and unable to walk.

The doctors are trying to build up his muscles in hopes that he'll be strong enough for the transplant. Through tests, the doctors just found out that he is now septic.

Karen is in Milwaukee with Randy and has taken leave from her job. There are going to be living, food, and transportation costs.

Update: From the information that has been received, Randy is coming home today via ambulance. Randy will be on hospice on his return home. I was informed that it's a speedy ride, around $5,000.
