Randy Santos with Medical Expenses and Recovery

As some of you may know, our father, Randy, recently underwent emergency open-heart surgery at the beginning of this year. He initially emerged from the surgery without complications but it was discovered that during the procedure, Dad suffered from more than one stroke at some point between the surgery and his post-op recovery severely damaging his right hemisphere. His prognosis is not entirely known at this point, however, what is a known fact is that the medical bills stemming from this incident will affect him on top of the eventual physical and mental therapy he will end up needing. We were raised to be as independent and self-sufficient as we possibly could be, and who we are as people is in major part thanks to our Dad. Now, in his time of greatest need, we humbly ask for your help as a family to soften the blow that our Dad has endured. Our dad is a retired veteran and correctional officer. Even though he is retired, he spends his days on his bird ranch raising them for supplemental income. His free time is filled with being a devoted father, grandparent, husband and staying active on a local softball team. Dad is known by many as a hardworking and friendly guy who can make you laugh with a witty joke. Recently due to his declining health, he has had to cut back on running the farm and playing sports. We want to personally thank friends, family and the community for supporting our dad during this time. No matter how large or small, every bit will help keep him focused on returning to as close to 100% himself as he can be. We know that money, especially these days and during these times is extremely tight. Please do not feel obligated to hurt yourself to help our family.
