Anyone who knows my dad, knows he would give you the shirt off his back if you needed it. He has been there countless times for countless people anytime they've called on him. You have a question about a car - Call Randy. You need him to fix your car - Call Randy. Car broke down - Call Randy. You want to play and have fun - CALL RANDY!!
My whole life, my dad has been a servant and enjoyed every minute of it. Now he's calling on you.
He's been diagnosed (for the 3rd time in the last 7 years) with stage 3 bladder cancer. This time he has a tumor that is invading in on his pelvic bone, neo bladder, and his colon - that has been deemed inoperable.
We are hoping and believing that he can beat this a 3rd time!
He and my mom have been staying in a hotel near the hospital 5 days a week since July 1st for treatment (chemo and radiation). He has had one full chemo treatment (two separate infusions) and 5 radiation treatments so far.
Everything has happened so fast. Dad was experiencing pain since December of 2018 and the doctors didn't catch it until the end of May (even though he has been getting scans 2 times a year and had a surgery in January where it could have been identified). His tumor has doubled in size in the past two months. You can imagine the pain this has caused. On a Monday my dad was up walking around and by Friday he was not able to walk or move without excruciating pain. Making sure my dad is taken care of is a 24 hour job - which my mom (and our family) are happily doing. So far, this month we have accrued over $40,000 in medical costs.
I'm asking that if you can, please rally around my Dad. He's a fighter and he loves all who love him.
