This is my brother Randy. He is 50 years old and is a life-long resident of Trent Hills, Ontario. Randy is divorced with two loving children who are currently in college. Randy demonstrates a kindness and generosity of spirit that has always been inspiring.
On August 6, 2015 Randy had an accidental fall from a ladder while working on a house. He landed on his head, and broke his neck at C6/C7. He was quickly and efficiently assisted by the local fire and rescue folks at the site. Randy was then airlifted to the nearest trauma centre where he underwent immediate life-sustaining surgery.
Randy's current condition is stable and he will be entering rehab therapy soon. It is unknown at this time the exact extent of injury and prolonged effects of such a debilitating trauma. He is experiencing daily progress.
It is clear that Randy's life will be very different as he faces many challenges in the coming months. It will require a great deal of love and supprt emotionally, physically and financially to assist Randy in this healing journey. Randy maintains a positive outlook and is quite enthisiastic about his recovery.
I am asking on behalf of Randy and the rest of our family for your financial assistance to ensure that Randy receives the most effective care available and to maintain his sense of self-worth. Every donation is lovingly appreciated.
