Range Improvements at Camp St Charles, Eagle Scout Project
Tax deductible
My name is Brandon Corlette and I am a Boy Scout with Troop 1814 of La Plata, MD. I am in the process of completing my Eagle Scout Service Project. For my service project I will be providing electricity for the rifle range at Camp St. Charles (located in Newburg, MD) as well as providing a better walkway for campers to the rifle range. More than 650 kids attend Camp St. Charles each summer to enjoy swimming, campfires, playing outdoors, and a variety of other activities, including participating at the rifle range. The current pathway for the rifle range isn’t a clear path and I hope to make the walkway better, plus provide electricity. I think it would be a great idea to have the option to turn on fans during a hot summer day and have electricity for future lighting.
Choosing Camp St. Charles as the location to do my service project is near and dear to me as I have frequented this camp over the years. I have gone to this camp as a young camper, a camp mentor, and for a variety of Boy Scout activities and camp-outs.
I am hoping that you will want to not only help me facilitate this project, but that you will also see the value in this project as it will benefit many campers for the years to come.
Donations will go to Camp St. Charles and be used as needed for this project.
Camp St. Charles is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization. The Camp St. Charles Federal ID number is 520859035.
Thank you so much for your contribution!
