Range Regional Animal Rescue Sensory Garden

WE NEED YOUR HELP!

We'd really like to build something special for our dogs this spring. An outdoor space that will encourage them to use all of their senses, to explore, and to interact with their environment. Sensory Gardens provide tons of enrichment, they help build confidence, and they reduce stress levels.

This fundraiser will help us buy landscaping equipment, animal friendly plants and seeds, soil, sand, lumber, hardware, a solar powered water fountain, gardening supplies, etc.

Item donations would be greatly appreciated, as well. We will need things like: Logs, gravel, wood chips, new or used gardening equipment, new or used landscaping tools and supplies, tires, lumber, willow branches, wood wind chimes, soil, sand, Astro-Turf, large outdoor planters, etc.

If you prefer to contribute by getting your hands dirty, we would love to have volunteers help us build and maintain our sensory garden. If you have some carpentry skills you'd like to contribute, we would like to build a dog house with an easily accessible platform on top for summertime sunbathing. A digging box with 3 sides to help keep the sand in, a tether tug, and a small agility course are also things we'd like to incorporate into the garden.
