Raptors Drone Footage Legal Fund
If you've come to this page, you've probably found out by now that Transport Canada has issued fines for someone who allegedly flew a drone over crowds during the Toronto Raptors celebrations after we won the NBA title.
Here's a quick summary video and what's going on with me:

That someone is likely me (mostly because I have not received any mail, but I appear to be their sole target.)
I was never intending to break any laws or make money by posting footage to my instagram account - I simply wanted to share footage of an epic historic event that would go down in history.
Anyways, the fine amount is $2,750 - and possibly more for legal fees. This is not a small amount of money.
Though I travel alot and have been called a "trust fund kid" or "rich asian" - these labels are false. The only things i really have of value are my laptop and camera equipment. I own no house, have no lease, and don't live anywhere at the moment.
I try to maintain a travel this lifestyle in order to capture and share the beauty of the world with everyone. It can easilly get really expensive so to keep costs down, I've lived in cars for the majority of this year.
For the past two months, i've lived in a tiny little volkswagen hatchback while capturing the landscapes of Italy and Switzerland. Prior to that, i spent 5 months living in a Kei-class mini car in Japan. Yes. I'm essentially homeless.
But yeah, regardless of my finances, this is not a small amount of change for anyone.
So here's my ask.
Did you enjoy the drone footage of our epic NBA win?
Did you think it was worth capturing?
Did you think it was historic moment?
If you answer yes to any of these questions, I'd really appreciate it if you could chip in to help out with my legal issues. I shared the footage with everyone with good intent to spread positivity, but this has taken an unfortunate turn.
If the win and footage that was captured has affected you in a positive way, i'd really be happy if you could chip in.
P.S. if you want to download the footage, it's available here:
