Raquel Delatorre

On September 17, 2023 my 37-year-old daughter Raquel went into the hospital to have her gallbladder removed. What should have been a routine in/out surgery has turned into our biggest nightmare. Raquel has subsequently had her appendix removed, her intestines were damaged and fluid built-up which had to be drained. Her kidneys have shut down and she had to have dialysis. She’s had seizures, swelling on the brain and in and out of multiple hospitals over the past three months. We have now been told she is to go home with hospice care because there is nothing else that can be done. This is devastating news for our family. She has two children and we are all at a loss of words on how to move forward. Now my daughter is home and we are preparing for the worst thing, when will she pass. We are looking for donations to help with her medical expenses and funeral planning. It breaks my heart to post this,however, we are simply looking for help as we navigatethisjourney.
