Raquel Schuh's Memorial Fund
Donation protected
Update-
On Tuesday, April 18th my wonderful mother passed away. There are no words to express how we are feeling but at least we can find some comfort in knowing that she is no longer in any pain.
To everyone that has donated, saying thank you doesn't feel like enough. Without your support, I'm not sure if we'd have had these last few months with her. So thank you for all of the kind words, donations, and prayers.
Any support that wasn't used for her treatment will go towards her funeral service, as well as any future support that may be received.
The time we got to spend with my mom was precious but not nearly enough. We miss her dearly and are all working to make it through this incredibly painful time.

I’ve created this GoFundMe on behalf of my mom Raquel Schuh, who was recently diagnosed with liver cancer and needs immediate treatment. In early June, Raquel was coming off of the flu and was experiencing severe fatigue and digestive issues. After completing various tests, blood panels, and scans, Raquel received unexpected and devastating news. The doctors had found multiple cancerous masses on her liver and spots on her lungs and stomach. To say that this diagnosis has been shocking and heartbreaking to Raquel and the whole family is an understatement, and while we take the time to process we know that no time can be wasted. Her treatments must start right away so that she has as strong a chance as possible to fight this.
During the second week of August, Raquel will travel to the cancer treatment facility, where she will remain as an inpatient for at least the next month as she begins her year-long treatment plan. This strict treatment plan aims to minimize the size of the cancerous masses, rid her body of the deadly toxins, and give her the best chance of a long life. These treatments will require multiple trips to the facility for extended periods of time throughout the next year. Our goal is to raise $125,000 to cover the treatments, travel costs, and recovery.
The cost of these treatments is overwhelming for us, and the hope is that through the generous support of our family, friends, and clients, we can alleviate some of the stress and financial burden that she now faces. Hopefully, with the financial burden eased, Raquel can put all of her time, energy, and thoughts toward healing her body instead of having this added and unanticipated stress weighing heavily on her. Please help us as we raise money to contribute to Raquel’s treatments and care. Even the smallest donations and prayers will go a long way and are greatly appreciated.
While this diagnosis has been absolutely devasting to Raquel and the family, she has approached this situation with bravery and a strong drive to do whatever possible to help her body fight this.
Raquel has the love and support of her husband, Jeffery, three children, and grandchildren to help her get through this incredibly difficult and scary time.
With sincerest thanks from our entire family,
Alanna Schuh
