Rare identical twin brothers with cancer help with bills..

One of the 2nd worst things a parent can hear is that their child has been diagnosed with cancer. The 1st is that a second child has it as well. Aden and Alec are 10 yr. old identical twins. So, identical that they both now have the exact same cancer, Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia. While it isn’t uncommon for identical twins to both be diagnosed with cancer, it is rare that both have the same exact form.
Alec was diagnosed in 2019 and completed his treatment and rang the bell cancer free in August 2022. Aden had been tested early on and showed no signs. See, this is beast that is Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia it hides until it doesn’t. By the time Aden was diagnosed June 2023 it had attacked his spleen and his liver, our body's filtration system. Unlike Alec who now compared to Aden flew through his treatment with minimal side effects, Aden has had extreme side effects from the 5 different forms of chemo used to treat this awful disease. The treatment has wrecked his digestive system, lungs and left his body frail. Where Alec was able to spend much of his treatment outpatient, Aden has been hospitalized for months.
This brings us to the family. While there is help, it isn’t enough to sustain. Rhea, Aden and Alec’s Mother, has 6 children at home. Rhea’s partner, Dre, has been able work remotely and help take care of his daughter, Amora, son Dre and Aden’s other siblings Alec, his twin, Paris & London 9, also twins (special needs), and older sister Kylee. When Alec was ill and in treatment Rhea was able to supplement the family’s income by also working remotely underwriting mortgages. Due to circumstances associated with the seriousness of Aden’s illness and treatment this has left the family struggling to keep up with the demands of a large family and supporting a household.
If you give, I promise every little bit will help. Rhea is a warrior. She is also a resourceful survivor. As a single mother by no choice of her own, her resourcefulness and ability to find a way has always been more the admirable. In situations where others would have buckled and given up, Rhea has always risen up and found away. For her to ask for assistance is not in her nature. This time is different, and she has been humbled by the extreme demand of two children with a debilitating illness and time-consuming treatment. She has been a champion for both Aden and Alec as well as her other children.
Please find it in your heart to give and if you can’t give, please raise this family up in your prayers. It is greatly appreciated, more than you can imagine.
