Rashidullah Shinwari’s Funeral and Legal fund

On June 2nd, 2021, Rashidullah, affectionally known as Rashi, who was a grade 12 student at Monarch Park Collegiate Institute, tragically lost his life. He was celebrating his 18th birthday and admission to the Business Administration Program from the Ryerson University. Sadly, he lived 18 years, and 2 hours. Rashi’s sudden tragic death has brought on unbearable pain and sorrow to his family, friends, schoolmates, and relatives. He was a beloved young human being and an active member of the Monarch Park Collegiate Institute Rugby Team, a Blue Built member of the CMAC Beaches Martial Arts School, a hardworking employee of a Farm Boy Store in Downtown Toronto, a dedicated volunteer to Muslim Community in Toronto, a passionate youth volunteer mentor at his school, and a great helper to his friends.

 His loss felt in many hearts of those close to him. In addition, Rashi’s loss has created a deep grief and difficult mourning for his family and loved ones. During his short life, Rashi shaped a compassionate and loving path for many of us to follow and celebrate his wonderful achievement that many cannot accomplish in decades.

Rashi’s sudden death positioned his family in a vulnerable financial situation. We greatly appreciate your valuable donation to fulfill our last duty as his parents by performing the funeral and burial ceremonies.
