On February 18, 2012, four Air Force Special Operations Airmen lost their lives while flying in support of Operation Enduring Freedom:

On February 16, 2017, our flying community is holding a memorial service to honor these Airmen, their families, and all they gave in the fight for our freedom.
The memorial service will take place in the airpark at Hurlburt Field, FL.
Proceeds will cover the memorial service and travel expenses for family members who lost loved ones on RATCHET 33. Funds will be deposited to Destin 50 Beach Ultra, Inc. a 501(c)3 Public Charity managed by Zane Holscher. Mr. Holscher will reimburse the parents and spouses directly to cover airfare, lodging and transportation. Any remaining funds will be donated to the Special Operations Warrior Foundation.
