Rathore Race to the Olympics

Rathore Special School caters for children, aged 3-19, with severe and profound disabilities.



Rathore  Parents and Friends Association are raising money for much needed equipment for the children including outdoor play equipment for the sensory play area


and a specially adapted minibus to allow the children to benefit from the many fantastic venues in our local area. 


We are running an exciting new fundraising challenge which involves the children in school as well as family, friends and members of the local community.

Starting on 26th May we are asking the whole community, and family and friends, near and far, to join us on our virtual journey of 9503km, from Newry to Tokyo, in time for this year's  summer Olympic Games.

Walk Run Cycle Swim Climb Roll or Row
and together we will complete our challenge to cover the whole 9503km
