Ratoath Charity Road Run

Donation protected

Many charities are struggling to survive at this time with most fundraising activities prohibited or restricted.

Ratoath ladies and men's senior players are looking to do their bit for charities close to their hearts - The Dublin Rape Crisis Centre and Cystic Fibrosis Ireland.

Starting on Friday morning at 6am, the senior players in both codes will take on the mammoth challenge to run/jog/walk a collective target of 2,500km in 4 days over the bank holiday weekend while practicing social distancing. Inspired by our late and much loved friends, Ronan Cahill and Julie Crowe, over 70 players across both codes have already signed up to take on the challenge. Ronan and Julie were much loved members of our community and we now ask the people of Ratoath to show their community spirit and do their part to get behind the efforts to raise funds for these charities in their time of need.

Please take a few moments to donate to these worthy causes at this difficult time in their lives. Please also share the link on your timelines and encourage others to contribute what they can. Finally - if you see any of our players running the streets of the village, show them your support with a thumbs up!
