RATS!!!!! Pet rats dumped on state game lands.

You all know I love animals and spend as much time as possible trying to make a difference for the ones who need help. I couldn't do this without the help and support of so many of you. I need your help again....
I am helping with a situation involving many pet rats dumped on Pennsylvania state game lands. Last week we went out when we heard about the rats being sighted and caught six cute little rats and stayed out forever in the cold because we didn't want to leave one by itself out there. We caught the last one and were so excited to have helped these six little beings and put a big done stamp on that rescue endeavor. NOT! Today I found out there are more. When I say more, I don't mean one or two. Other amazing rescuers were out all day on Thanksgiving when they should have been home spending time with their families, and they caught 30+ more. How insane is that? The job is still not done, and we expect to catch another 30 or more. What kind of person dumbs all these little helpless creatures on a frozen mountain and expects them to fend for themselves? An evil one, for sure. Anyway, we need your help. These rats are getting vet care and going up for adoption, but the vet care and supplies to feed and care for the rats are expensive since there are so many. The kind soul who took these rats in also rescued a pile of rats dumped in Harrisburg this summer, so she is still working to find homes for those and now has a whole new herd to help. Please consider helping by donating a couple bucks. $5 Friday! Skip the coffee and help a cute little rat. I know rats aren't everyone's cup of tea, but they are living beings who are intelligent and deserve our help. No creature should ever be treated the way these little guys were. Let's help them find their happy place.
All funds raised will go to Bethany Pascoe, who is caring for and vetting these little fuzzballs!
It takes a village, and a village showed up today to help these babies. I met some incredible rescuers, and I'm in awe at their dedication to all creatures, great and small!
