Raul Contreras Franco

Hello my name is Michael Lee Franco youngest grandson to Raul, on november 29th Raul passed peacefully to be with his wife, daughter and son and many family members. He was a man of few but strong words always had a smile and loved to crack a random joke and just be an amazing person.

On the 28th he decided he wanted to see the doctor so we took him to the hospital in Cuero, tx where the doctors diagnosed him with having a heart attack a month before and having congestive heart failure. He sadly lasted only to the next day November 29th at 1 pm.

As of today November the 30th as the person who took care of him I have made his final arrangements along with my brothers Michael Wayne and Leroy Chester his other 2 grandsons and we are asking for some help to pay for his final send off. It pains me to have to ask for help as i wanted to be able to pay for it myself to send him off but i cannot and thats why today im asking not for much but just a little bit. Even a well wish goes a long way.

I ask with a heavy heart and swallowed pride for help in this time of need for an amazing man. A great father to my late father Leroy T Franco and an even better grandfather to me and mike and bubba. Raul had asked for a straight cremation and to have his ashes buried along side his son here on the farm and we intend to honor his wishes and will hold a gathering at a later date to celebrate his life and legacy he has left behind for us.
